Dermot O'Donnell

Dermot has recently graduated with a 2:1 in Music from Ulster University. He has been teaching flute, piano and voice for over ten years, both at home, in Derry, and abroad at a performing arts camp in America.

As a musician, he has performed with the Ulster University Choir, and more recently Codetta, across the island of Ireland. In 2016, he had the privilege of performing with the Ulster University Choir at the world famous Carnegie Hall under the direction of composer Paul Mealor. In 2017, he played the role of “Dancaire” in Foyle Opera’s performance of Carmen.

Alongside performing, he has lead music workshops in local Derry schools, provided GCSE performance classes and leads a local church choir.

Outside of music, Dermot is a football fan and cinema addict.
