Shauna-Marie Clifford

Shauna-Marie Clifford began singing at the age of 4, when she took lessons at the McCafferty School of Music with the legendary James Mc Cafferty and his daughter Una. She was a seasoned performer at Derry Feis, taking part in singing, speech and drama and woodwind competitions.  After completing her A-Levels at Thornhill College, she went on to get her Bachelor of Education from St Marys College Belfast while also specialising in Music. During her time there she continued to study singing under the instruction of both Una Carlin and Emma Barr as well as continuing her studies in piano at The Belfast School of Music. She also obtained grade 6 clarinet and grade 5 saxophone during these years. Shauna-Marie began giving both voice and piano lessons at the age of 20 and has been enjoying teaching ever since.  She has a wealth of experience in preparing pupils for music exams under several different boards.

Shauna-Marie has performed with many choirs over the years including the Colmcille Ladies Choir here in Derry. She also sings regularly at weddings. She currently teaches at a local primary school where she also holds the post of Music Coordinator.  Shauna-Marie enjoys training the school choir and taking them to perform at different events and competitions. She is really looking forward to joining the team at St Columb's School of Music.
