St. Columb's School of Music

The School of Music aims to keep all children safe and to create an environment where they feel secure enough to discuss their concerns.  The School trains all staff to recognise when children are in need of help.

The School has a statutory obligation to follow the policies and procedures established by the Safeguarding Trust. Their guidelines form the basis of the School’s Child Protection policy. Parents with concerns about Child Protection issues should contact the Designated Senior Person (DSP) for Child Protection in school, Ian Bartlett.  Parents with concerns about a member of staff should contact the musical directors, concerns about the musical directors should be referred to the Designated Senior Person Ian Bartlett.
