Grace McGowan

Grace began playing the piano and violin at the age of six before picking up the saxophone during her teenage years. Grace graduated with a 2:1 in Music from Queen’s University Belfast and later completed her PGCE in Music at Ulster University.

 

Throughout the years, Grace has played in various ensembles such as the EA Youth Orchestra, Cross Border Orchestra of Ireland, Queen’s University Symphony Orchestra and is currently a member of Orchestra North West. She also had the opportunity to be apart of the International Youth Symphony in San Diego in 2015.

 

Grace has taught music in many schools in Derry over the past few years and is looking forward to adding St Columb’s School of Music to this list.
