Niamh Long
Niamh is 21 years old has recently graduated with a first class honours degree in Professional Dance and Musical Theatre from one of London’s top drama schools, The Urdang Academy. She has also attained Grades 1-8 in Classical singing and Diploma in Musical Theatre. From a young age, Niamh has performed in many shows and competitions including the Derry Feis and West End Calling. As a member of the Thornhill College Senior Chamber Choir, Niamh also competed in School Choir of the Year.
Niamh has had roles in local productions such as Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Cats and Oliver!. She has played “Elle” in Legally Blonde at The Millennium Forum, “Maria” in West Side Story also at The Millennium Forum and St Patrick’s Hall, “Eponine” in Les Miserables at The Waterfront Theatre and “Rusty” in Footloose at The Grand Opera House. In 2017, Niamh was nominated for the AIMS award for best female vocalist for her role as “Christine Daaé” in DYMT’s North West premiering production of The Phantom of the Opera.
Since moving to London, Niamh has attained several professional credits including “James” in James and The Giant Peach, “Little Sally” in Urinetown, and most recently, Mistress in Evita with the National Symphony Orchestra in Dublin.
