Band Sessions

Following the incredible success of our last Band Project, we're delighted to launch a brand-new programme for Summer 2026! Last year’s participants worked together to form bands, develop their musical skills, and perform to an audience of over 300 people at The Nerve Centre in Derry. It was one of the highlights of the year, with young musicians gaining confidence, making new friends, and experiencing the excitement of performing as part of a real band.

This summer, we're taking things a step further.

As well as learning popular songs and developing their ensemble skills, each group will take part in dedicated songwriting workshops, working together to write, rehearse and perform an original song. The project will culminate in a live showcase performance in September, featuring both well-known songs and the participants' own music.

Whether you're a guitarist, bassist, drummer, keyboard player, singer or another instrumentalist, this is a fantastic opportunity to experience what it's really like to be in a band.
