Grace is a 23 - year - old artist and performer, born and raised in Derry City.

An active member of the local performance scene from a young age, Grace’s performance credits include ‘The White Handkerchief’, ‘Edges’ and ‘I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change’ with the Derry Playhouse, ‘Grease’, ‘Legally Blonde’ and ‘The Phantom of the Opera’ with the Millennium Forum, dancer/performer with Derry Halloween, North West Carnival Initiative, Mandinga Arts and in recent years Grace has obtained screen credits with companies such as RTE, BBC, Northern Ireland Screen, The Department of Justice and Nupitch Productions.

Grace’s qualifications include her Diploma in Singing (Classical and Musical Theatre), Grades 1 - 8 with Distinction in Speech and Drama and she was recently awarded a First Class Honours in her BA (Hons) Degree in Drama from Ulster University. In addition to this, Grace attained additional training in voice and performance in her 2 years as a member of the Playhouse Music Theatre Company and is now confident in teaching and performing all genres, from classical to pop. Notable accolades include The Joanne Harkens Cup, 4 consecutive High Achiever Awards from RIAM and the Playhouse Prize for outstanding contributions to her degree.

During Grace’s work in GCSE and A - Level Music she began developing her skills as a song writer, performing her music and covers within the local gigging scene, as well as singing at weddings, funerals and other events. In 2024 Grace was commisioned by the Playhouse to compose and workshop an original song cycle with a cohort of local emerging artists and she continues developing this piece.

In her time as an up - and - coming performer in Derry, Grace struggled to find opportunities for decent training, which is why her current objective is to provide her students with a space for their development that has not previously been available. Her aim for her students is to inspire, guide and nurture them, giving them the confidence and skills required to enhance their abilities and achieve their goals.

Grace’s teaching ability has been nurtured in her time on her degree, her experience in 1 - 1 tutelage of GCSE Music pupils and her time as a substitute for the other vocal tutors of St Columbs School of Music. She is so excited to be joining the team as a full time tutor!
